25siete Noticias

25siete is an alternative, free and open access, non-profit digital media. It deals with national, regional and global reality, with an emphasis on the areas of politics, justice, university, health, environment, gender and disability. It permanently updates the news it publishes on its portal and disseminates them from its social media accounts Twitter and Facebook, WhatsApp community and its list of email subscribers. It seeks to offer journalistic scoops and emphasizes the corroboration of information prior to its dissemination.  It offers opinion columns with a plural and diverse vision on issues of social relevance. Likewise, it accepts contributions from young journalists and students of Communication Sciences. Humor and irony are allowed. 25siete does not respond to any interest group and adheres to the Code of Journalistic Ethics of the Uruguayan Press Association. It is sustained based on the efforts of its advertisers and the support of its readers. It also receives the honorary collaboration of communication, design and IT professionals. It develops an active policy of solidarity social responsibility and promotes ventures of community value free of charge.   ​
