2PuntosPlatform has a hyperlocal focus in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania region. It goes beyond numbers and aims to be an arm of connection with the Latin community that comes to the northern country from various places in the three Americas. It consists of 2PuntosPodcast, a weekly podcast that gives the microphone to Latino voices from different countries to insist on inclusion, equity and social rights. The podcast is also presented by two hosts who speak to Latinos of different generations. On the other hand, it consists of VozColectiva, a hyperlocal newsroom that it launched with the support of the Independence Public Media Foundation. The editorial team is made up of Latina women, immigrants and mostly survivors of domestic violence who work to vindicate women as a force for development and report on the problems of being a woman, Latina and immigrant in a city like Philadelphia, having as a pillar the fight against domestic violence in the city and soon in other states of the United States. VozColectiva has Facebook and Instagram accounts. 2PuntosPodcast began as a radio show that, during the COVID-19 pandemic, became an intimate audio conversation now available on Spotify, Ivoox, YouTube, Facebook, and three radio stations: Philatinos, PhillyCAM WPPM 106.5 FM and USALAl. Today 2PuntosPlatform is made up of a trans-American team that works remotely from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Bogotá, Colombia, to produce the podcast and support the work of community writing. It is a multi-genre, multi-generational and bilingual team. VozColectiva, the community newsroom of 2PuntosPlatform, won the “Product of the Year” award at the 2023 LION Publishers Awards.
