Alien Mag is an online magazine about fashion, lifestyle, and culture. The name refers to the founders' feelings when they started the platform: you are different. Alien Mag is "about girl power and self-acceptance, about celebrating life in all its diversity."

It aims to be an inclusive media outlet: its photo reports represent a variety of women, and bicultural women write most of the platform's stories. Alien Mag's founders are Aminanta Minte and Imane El Oualkadi.

Furthermore, its mission is to show the talent of creative bicultural women, and to offer photographers, illustrators, and stylists the opportunity to pursue their careers.

Alien Mag has grown into much more than just a magazine since 2018. In an interview with VSBFonds, the two founders spoke of a movement. "We noticed that the online group was growing and wanted to meet each other physically. Now we organise brainstorms, panel discussions, and exhibitions. And they are well-visited. Not only by women with a bicultural background, but also by bicultural men and Dutch women."
