Argentina Amateur Deporte (AAD) is an Argentine digital media founded at the end of 2012, initially conceived as a monthly online magazine. Since its beginnings, it has developed close ties with sports federations and organizations, with the purpose of promoting interest in amateur sports in the country through audiovisual content. Throughout its history, AAD has consolidated its presence in the sector, with more than a thousand articles, coverage, interviews and life stories that capture the essence of its informative mission. In 2018, the medium obtained sixth place in the Association International of Press Sports awards, which strengthened its recognition as a reference in the sports and academic field, being frequently consulted by journalism schools and sports institutions. In addition to its local impact, its coverage has sparked the interest of both national and international news platforms, strengthening its relevance in the media ecosystem. AAD is distinguished by its commitment to creating communication channels that accompany athletes along their path, reporting on all dimensions of sport, both national and international. With a serious and quality journalistic approach, the medium focuses on making visible little-explored aspects and giving space to stories that invite debate and reflection, seeking to actively contribute to the transformation of the sports panorama. The objective of Argentina Amateur Deporte is to consolidate itself as the reference medium in the coverage of amateur sports, covering a diversity of disciplines and giving visibility to stories, actions and protagonists who deserve to be known for their ability to inspire others. With the ambition to transform sports journalism and the current situation of sports, AAD continues to grow with a team of committed professionals who actively participate in events from the practice of journalism, driven by the same passion that led them to found this project.
