Birrística is the first media specialized in beer culture in Santa Fe: this self-managed digital native media aims, through multiple platforms, to make visible and narrate from the Argentine coast who are, what and how those who promote, innovate, grow, energize and transform beer culture in vast territories are, with the city of Santa Fe being the starting point. Beer is culture in motion: it is action and practice, it is the perfect mixture that It unites the noble nature of nature with the magic of experimenting and doing to create the new. Share recipes and knowledge, meet in an open cooking session to learn about the ingredients and learn how to cook, awaken and expand our sensory library by perceiving each aroma and tasting each drink, creating a community around a beer at home or in bars. Birrística seeks to carry out a journalistic approach with a gender perspective around beer and its culture to share news and tell stories. This involves providing data that invites reflection on the cultural processes and practices of consumption to share learning and good experiences with the community. In this context, the medium promotes and makes visible beer experiences shared and guided with information and data. It is about promoting informed and responsible consumption. With this objective, it is proposed to review facts and milestones in history to understand processes and trends, tell stories, listen to and make visible those who produce and are part of the beer culture, with special interest in making women and diversities visible as an editorial policy.  The medium currently has its website www.birristica.com dedicated to the dissemination of beer news, an agenda of events and activities, while developing content on the social networks Instagram and TikTok. Also, it is of interest for the project to generate quality content in the near future on its YouTube channel. In addition, its founder has a weekly newsletter on the Substack platform in which she shares reflections and readings about beer culture on the site https://labirrayyo.substack.com/. Although it began as a journalistic project, Birrística over the years incorporated a business unit dedicated to providing communication services for associations and SMEs in the sector. Creation of content for social networks and press service with the writing of parts and linkage with mass media are part of the services it offers. Doing journalism about beer culture with a delimited region such as the Argentine coast, with a gender perspective and content that informs and invites reflection is the search and purpose of Birrística.
