Cafe Con Voz

Café con Voz is an interview and opinion program that promotes public debate on vital issues that affect Nicaraguans in general, especially in the context of the political and human rights crisis that the country has been experiencing since April 2018. It is an opinion program that began on the radio and then jumped to open and cable television in the country. However, due to the confiscation of the 100% Noticias news channel by the Daniel Ortega Regime, the Café con Voz program went off the air, as did all 100% Noticias programming in mid-December 2018. At the same time, its founder, Luis Galeano, was forced to leave the country due to the regime's persecution of independent journalists who broadcast programs on the 100% Noticias news channel. Currently Café con Voz continues its broadcasts from exile in Miami, debating and generating opinion on the crucial issues that impact Nicaraguans living in Nicaragua and the more than 50 thousand who are now in exile.
