MyNews is an independent journalism channel created by journalist Mara Luquet and screenwriter and comedian Antônio Tabet. The initiative was born on YouTube in 2018 and the following year became a worldwide case study on the platform.

In 2020, they were selected for two Google journalism and innovation projects: the Startup Lab, to accelerate journalism projects in Brazil, and the GNI YouTube Sustainability Lab, which chose 20 media outlets in a global competition. Before that, they had already earned three journalism funds for innovation and education, all from Google.

One of their programs, Segunda Chamada, was considered by the São Paulo Association of Art Critics (APCA) to be one of the five best journalism programs of 2019. In 2020, MyNews was considered one of the 10 best in Brazil in the video category of the + Admirados da Imprensa de Economia, Negócios e Finanças award.

MyNews also won the 11th edition of the NaTelinha Best of the Year Award. In 2021, we were among the 10 finalists for the iBest award in the "Politics" category.
