Confidence24.net is an Ivorian digital news organisation based in Bouaké, launched on July 7, 2025. Founded and directed by journalist Ladji Abou Sanogo, regional correspondent for the daily Soir Info and president of the Union nationale des journalistes et correspondants de presse de Ivory Coast (UNAJCOP-CI), the outlet positions itself as a general-interest newsroom committed to impartial and verifiable reporting. The title is the first project of the press group Manan Editions. Its mission is to serve readers in Ivory Coast and abroad with reliable coverage anchored in professional ethics.
From its base in the country’s second city, the newsroom foregrounds local reporting from central Ivory Coast while following national politics, public affairs, community issues, culture and sport. The launch drew support from industry stakeholders, including a representative of the national media regulator (Autorité nationale de la presse), underscoring the project’s stated emphasis on ethics and accountability. By assembling a core team led by an editor deeply involved in the professional community, Confidence24.net aims to widen the range of verified information available to audiences beyond Abidjan, and to reflect stories from the interior of the country within the national conversation.
The organisation publishes breaking news, reportage, interviews and analysis, with an editorial approach that stresses neutrality and fact-checking. Its audience includes Ivorians at home and in the diaspora seeking timely, credible updates on domestic developments.
