Desarchivando is an independent media outlet from the State of Mexico that, with a focus on human rights, does journalism for access to justice. Through investigations and current news articles, it makes visible the abuses committed in the different links of the justice system: the police, the Public Ministry, the Judiciary, the Public Defender's Office and the penitentiary system. This media is committed to solutions journalism, aiming for readers to know their rights and learn to defend them. It was born from the GNI Startups Lab Hispanoamérica program (incubator) of Google News Initiative and SembraMedia 2023.
