Ecofeminita is a site that seeks to disseminate notes on economics with a feminist perspective, in addition to activism about different challenges of the women's rights agenda and the LGBTTTIQ+ collective with the aim of building greater equity and equality. It is an interdisciplinary organization created and led by women and diversities that is dedicated to making visible the various forms of gender inequality. Ecofeminita works from economics, sociology, philosophy, political science, law, design, cinema, and data science with the aim of building scientific communication accessible to all. Its approach focuses on highlighting the asymmetric distribution of unpaid and care work, underlining the importance of the care economy for the economic development and sustainability of the system. As feminist activists, Ecofeminita seeks to democratize information and knowledge to promote citizen participation and its influence on public policies. They use social networks to share notes, data, statistics, academic content, courses and original production that reach a diverse audience, contributing to the construction of a truly egalitarian society. The organization is committed to critical, feminist and independent knowledge as an essential tool to highlight gender inequalities in all its manifestations and for the construction of an equitable society. Some of the topics that the site proposes to address are the wage gap, glass ceilings and walls, the unequal distribution of unpaid domestic work in the home between women and men, menstruation as a factor of inequality, tax justice, access to sexual and reproductive rights, feminist epistemology, among other topics on the feminist agenda. The page publishes its own works, disseminates information published by others and provides links to other sites specialized in the topic. In 2021, they were part of the media selected to receive the acceleration of Amuna Digital, the first iteration of the SembraMedia and Meta initiative.
