El Soberano is an information platform that arises from civil society organizations and social movements in order to inform citizens directly, without editorial censorship, without accepting pressure of any kind. They have currently become a digital communication medium that connects human rights to people's daily lives. They cover stories about promotion, defense and denunciation of human rights such as the environment and social rights, with a focus on equity. It is a space to inform, discuss, coordinate actions and denounce those political and business actions that are harmful to the quality of life of ordinary citizens. It is a meeting place that enables dialogue between different groups that fight for a fairer and more inclusive Latin America and the Caribbean. According to its founders to Sembramedia, "it is not necessary for this site to give space to information that emanates from other interest groups, since, for worse or worse, they have all the means to disseminate their points of view and assert their positions."
