Founded in 2005, ElPlural.com defines itself as a plural, liberal and left-wing newspaper. The motto that accompanies its logo is “progressive digital newspaper”. This digital newspaper, directed by the journalist Angélica Rubio and with Enric Sopena as founder and honorary president, has a team made up of more than 20 people, to which we must add a dozen regular collaborators. It is one of the oldest digital publications on the Spanish digital media landscape. The newspaper pays special attention to the political, economic and social news of the country, although it also has sections dedicated to sustainability, innovation and communication, among other topics. Three Spanish autonomous communities (Andalusia, Catalonia and the Balearic Islands) have their own section on ElPlural.com. Furthermore, at ElPlural.com the Opinion section has a special relevance. In addition to its website, ElPlural.com is also available as a native app for iOS and Android mobile devices.
