FashionGHANA.com is a Ghana-based fashion media and events company dedicated to African style. Founded in 2012 by editor and producer Nana Tamakloe, the brand publishes daily reporting on runway shows, designer launches, celebrity style and socio‑political issues shaping fashion across the continent and its diaspora. Its platforms span a digital magazine, FashionGHANA TV video features and style guides, alongside a long‑running designer directory that has profiled thousands of African labels. Beyond publishing, FashionGHANA produces Accra Fashion Week, a leading fashion showcase in Ghana, and stages the FashionGHANA Honors & Awards, launched in 2018 to recognise models, designers, schools and other industry players. The company also operates an e‑commerce operation and a flagship retail boutique in Accra offering African fashion to local and international shoppers, and provides advertising and PR services to brands. FashionGHANA’s work has been acknowledged over the years, including recognition by Avance Media and event awards tied to Accra Fashion Week, and it maintains a large social audience, including more than one million followers on Facebook. In recent years it has represented Ghana at the BRICS+ Fashion Summit and continued to convene press activity around its shows. The organisation’s mission is to amplify designers, models and creatives from Africa, connect them to buyers and media, and document the region’s evolving aesthetics through consistent on‑the‑ground coverage.
