Fayerwayer

Founded by Leo Prieto, a leader in innovation in Chile, and businessman Francisco Sandoval on August 8, 2008. In a matter of two years, the page had become one of the most important technology blogs in Spanish, reaching one and a half million visits per month. Thus they became part of the Betazeta Networks network. In July 2011 it received an investment from Grupo Copesa, one of the most important media groups in Chile, for three million dollars in exchange for 20% of its shares. This allowed it to extend its operations to the international market with the opening of offices in Spain and Mexico. Currently, they are part of the Publimetro network, a newspaper that is distributed in various Latin American countries - including Chile - and belongs to the Swedish holding company Metro International. Within this community, popular sites in Latin America stand out such as: Nueva Mujer (women's topics and conversations), Tacómetro (site for car fans), Fayerwayer (daily dose of technology) and Ferplei (community for soccer fans).
