FrontOnline is a digital media outlet founded in 2019 in the capital of Kosovo, Pristina, by two senior journalists, Enis Veliu and Lavdim Hamidi. Both are award-winning journalists with more than 20 years of experience in written journalism in Kosovo.

In 2017, Enis Veliu won the Citizens’ Courage Award from the non-governmental organisation Lëvizja FOL for his article KEDS bills us 8m Euros annually for the Serbs in the north. Lavdim Hamidi received the first prize of the Balkan Fellowship for Journalistic Excellence in 2008 with his article Power games delay escape from poverty, in addition to several other awards.

Veliu and Hamidi founded FrontOnline to provide unique information to the audience on the misuse of public money, organised crime, and corruption. One of the sections of FrontOnline is Hulumtime (in English: Investigations). Every month, it publishes in-depth investigations about the wealth of high-ranking public officials, comparing their money and assets with the data of formal declarations in the Kosovo Anti-Corruption Agency.

FrontOnline also monitors and investigates public tenders in the section Tenderët (in English: Tenders), which publishes investigations about the first stages of tender calls through their implementation.
