Heritage Times HT is a pan‑African digital news organisation headquartered in Abuja that reports on politics, the economy, security, culture and social change across the continent, pairing daily coverage with investigations and analysis. Its mission is to advance transparency, accountability and good governance, and to promote regional integration and sustainable development through public‑interest journalism. The newsroom is led by the Chairman/CEO, Mr. Moses Siloko Siasia, Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Gerald Kariboye So‑George who manages its operations, and Editor‑in‑Chief, Mr. Emmanuel Obisue.
HT curates the African Heritage Awards, an annual pan-African awards event launched in Kigali in April 2023 and has since then had its 2nd and 3rd editions in Lagos and Marrakech respectively. The awards event honours outstanding leaders, innovators, philanthropists, entrepreneurs, changemakers from across Africa and the diaspora. The programme recognizes contributions to democracy, humanitarian work and enterprise, drawing high‑profile honourees from government, business, and civil society.
HT also publishes its annual African Heritage magazine—an editorial project themed “Retelling the African Story”—profiling notable Africans in governance, business, science, culture, sport, and more.
With a pan‑continental brief and emphasis on accountability reporting, HT serves audiences in Nigeria, wider Africa and the global African diaspora seeking context‑rich coverage.
