Inclusive News Network

Inclusive News Network (INN) is a Nigerian specialist newsroom dedicated to disability coverage. Founded in 2015 after the idea germinated in 2013, it emerged from a prior initiative, Persons with Disability Network. INN reports on disability policy and rights across Nigeria, from state‑level commissions and legislation to service delivery and education. The newsroom also covers para‑sports, assistive technology, mental health, gender‑based violence, and the lived experiences of Deaf, blind and mobility‑impaired Nigerians. A distinguishing feature is its sign‑language news production: INN publishes video bulletins and interviews interpreted in sign language alongside spoken English, widening access for Deaf audiences. Its reporters produce profiles and community features that elevate disability voices often ignored by mainstream media. INN is led by CEO/COO Sejoro Ekundayo Peter. In 2025 the outlet marked its tenth anniversary and announced community projects delivered through an affiliated nonprofit, the Centre for Media Advocacy for the Disabled (CMAD). Coverage spans federal and state policy briefings, disability commissions, inclusive education and para‑sport championships, often reported from the field with voices from community leaders. INN’s audience includes persons with disabilities, advocacy groups, policymakers and the general public seeking reliable, human‑centered reporting on inclusion. By maintaining a consistent, nationwide focus and accessible formats, INN has carved out a clear role in Nigeria’s media landscape: making disability news visible, shareable and actionable.
