Inforegion was born with the objective of paying attention to regional demands, mainly to the citizens of the high jungle of the country, who received little or no attention from the State and faced serious conflict situations due to being the center of drug trafficking and terrorism operations. Focused on the valleys of Huallaga (with active presence of the hiker "Artemio") and Vraem (still devastated by the terrorism of remnants of the Quispe Palomino brothers). The Inforegión team shares the concept that drug trafficking was not only fought with police interdiction actions, but with local development, with a greater presence of the State and active participation of citizens. For this reason, Inforegión has always been looking for news from the first source and contributing to the progress of the Amazon through the decentralization of the news with a web platform and social networks such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube. We currently have a team of journalists in Lima and correspondents in the regions of Huánuco, Pasco, Junín, San Martín, Ucayali, Ayacucho, Cusco and Puerto Maldonado. We also receive collaborations from all regions of the country. We share news, reports, investigations, recommendations, opinion articles, etc. relevant issues on the environment, human rights, drug trafficking, mining and illegal logging, illegal trafficking of wild flora and fauna, national policy, public health, sustainable development, deforestation, alternative crops, protected natural areas, among other topics, mainly in our area of influence (Aguaytía, Tingo María, Oxapampa and Satipo). We are currently members of the Peruvian Press Council; and its founder, Manuel Boluarte, is vice president of said institution. We are also part of the Regional Media Network of Peru, together with Cusco Post, from Cusco; La Lupa, from Ica; Weekly Expression, from Lambayeque; Pro & Contra newspaper, from Iquitos; Pirhua.pe, from Piura; The Owl, from Arequipa; El Objective, from Puno, Tacna and Moquegua; Diario Jornada, from Ayacucho; Huanca York Times, from Junín; and Noticias Trujillo e Investiga, from La Libertad.
