Informativo Del Guaico

This medium, in blog format, has reported since 2010 on the events of the department of Nariño, in southern Colombia. Informativo del Guaico and its director, Miguel Córdoba, when significant events occur in the municipality of Sandoná or in the department, become a source of information for national and international media. Miguel Córdoba, its founder, had the idea of ​​creating this medium when attending a course on digital journalism and entrepreneurship organized by the Editorial Council with the support of UNESCO and in agreement with the Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas. Guaico, the site web, is the result of that exploration of Córdoba, and the evolution in formats, since it was born as a morning radio program on the community station Digital Stereo in Sandoná.
