ISCOADA publishes scientific research on anthropology and related disciplines (ethnology, sociology, archaeology, visual studies, documentary film, philosophy, psychology, neuroscience, economics, linguistics, artificial intelligence, and virtual reality), communicated in multimedia formats (text, illustration, photo, video, audio).
ISCOADA started with a simple observation: hundreds of social sciences students, masters' students, and researchers produce extraordinary academic knowledge that remains unknown to the broader public. Valuable analyses remain buried in libraries and read by a handful of people; academic papers published in peer-reviewed journals reach only specialists. The knowledge remains hidden in the recesses of universities.
ISCOADA aims to overcome academic isolation from society by providing a public platform for researchers to present their work to the general public in a more understandable language and format.
ISCOADA's team edits and publishes original work based on scientific research and analyses, facilitating the flow of knowledge from academia to the general public and aiming to understand better the society and the realities we experience. Their mission is to fight polarization and hate by showing that we can be united in our differences.
ISCOADA's team is currently preparing English edition.
