La Neta is an independent digital media founded by Corporación Humanas, a civil society organization that defends women and human rights, in 2021. It was born with the purpose of reporting on the Chilean constituent process and including points of view and debates that were not in the traditional media. After the two constitutional processes, La Neta dedicated itself to reporting on human rights, democracy and women's rights in political, legislative and public debates in Chile. The La Neta team is committed to fulfilling its informative role under criteria of quality, responsibility and relevance. Its editorial line is characterized by the gender perspective, intersectionality and respect for human rights. It seeks to be a space where civil society organizations, activists and human rights defenders access reliable information on democracy and human rights, with a focus on women's rights. In addition, it offers a space to disseminate your proposals and perspectives. La Neta's coverage of the constitutional process won the Journalism of Excellence Award from the Alberto Hurtado University in the Digital Innovation category. The medium also has the podcast La Informante, where topics from its editorial line are explored in depth through interviews with activists, organization leaders, experts, decision makers and candidates.
