La Tinta was born in Córdoba in 2016, following the initiative of a group of young journalists, with the aim of communicating in "times of resistance and taking sides in the dispute over the construction of subjectivities." They cover a diverse agenda of social and cultural issues, positioning themselves with a progressive and human rights perspective. Among its axes of coverage, the monitoring of what is happening in Córdoba stands out, complemented by a national perspective. Its position is based on the function of alternative, popular and community media to be an alternative to large communication companies in a context of credibility crisis. La Tinta is presented as a fresh, comprehensive and quality proposal, which articulates a large number of media, groups, spaces and communicators that do journalism committed to the most vulnerable sectors of society. It is organized as a cooperative and ten people form part as partners to redistribute the income, which they obtain mainly through advertising, support for cooperative media, content generation services, subscriptions and donations from their community.
