La Verdad, Periodismo De Investigacion

https://laverdadjuarez.com/
La Verdad is an independent investigative journalism initiative created by female journalists in 2018. We are currently one of the leading digital media for its border and cross-border investigations and coverage on issues of corruption, human rights, migration, social impact of violence, organized crime and politics. Our editorial line is based on the defense of human rights, the interests of citizens, social justice, surveillance of power and the defense of the truth. We have opted for journalism as a public service through reports and verified information, with our own focus and storytelling, written and multimedia. We also work with collaborative teams to fight misinformation. La Verdad's headquarters are in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico. A border community with the United States, which borders the states of Texas and New Mexico, and which forms a metropolitan area with El Paso, Texas, a binational region that has a population of almost 2.5 million inhabitants. We believe that collaboration strengthens our journalism, which is why we are co-founders of the Media Alliance of Periodistas de A Pie, a conglomerate of 15 local media located in 10 states of the country, and we are co-founders of the Puente News Collaborative, a binational information collaboration with seven media outlets from El Paso, Texas in which we participate until June 2024.
