Partidero is, above all, a starting point of any kind. A starting place, although intrinsically in its name it may carry some other connotation or symbolism. In the case at hand, it is a new website created and maintained by journalists whose essential purpose is to provide information on daily events in our society and its urban, regional and national environment, mainly. In addition, it is tasked with providing qualified opinions from different authors, and actors, on the future of events that concern or have journalistic interest that can contribute to forming criteria in public opinion.Plural, without partisanship or ideological tendencies of any nature, is Partidero, according to its founders; without patrons of any origin. Those who launch this project respond for themselves, for their being and journalistic work that they have carried out for years in different media that have only brandished freedom of expression with the sole aim of reporting what is most attached to the truth. In the words of the Partidero team, most of those who make up the project have worked on the radio, occasionally or not on television and in the written press in local and national media such as Excelsior at its best. era, that of Julio Scherer García who, stripped of that newspaper, claimed responsibility for founding and directing the magazine Proceso. Derived from these and many other journalistic experiences, they take on the challenge of venturing into the news, its context and the analysis of topics of general interest, in what is still, for many of them, a novel cyberspace such as the Internet, digital journalism, with unlimited scope. The only limitation will be respect for ethics, truth, justice and to people's privacy. In short, Partidero wants to do the best journalism, a journalism of ten: truthful, honest, credible, stable – not cyclical – and become a reference in which all currents of thought fit... and of citizen discontent, of authentic civil society. That is why it also fights to be a libertarian medium in which malicious interests never fit. For this reason, they are always open to complaints and responses when someone justifiably feels dissatisfied with any public situation.
