Pov International

http://pov.international

POV (Point of View) International is a media outlet founded in 2016 and owned by the non-profit journalism association POV International. It was founded in response to the dominance of national and global media organisations and their business models. All the information, news, analysis, reviews, essays, and editorials are free to read. The newsroom and contributors report on politics, business, culture, sports and foreign affairs.

While the newsroom is strongly interested in following Danish and international politics, its large number of writers gives them great editorial breadth. It is framed by the organisation's wish to be an open, independent, democratic news medium. Much of the organisation's information consists of essays and analysis from contributors from various backgrounds, including journalists, academics, and artists.

The organisation's primary revenue source comes from membership subscriptions. The membership model comprises three tiers, depending on how much each subscriber can contribute, but they all give access to the same content. Members also gain access to e-books, events, and exclusive newsletters.
