Qué digital (www.quedigital.com.ar) is a digital newspaper from Mar del Plata, Argentina, that covers in-depth breaking news from the city. The medium aims to be a bridge between people and what happens in their streets, without external conditions, foreign interests or business logic.

The project, born in 2014 and self-managed by journalists and photojournalists grouped in the Cooperativa La Editorial, set out from its origins to do cooperative and independent journalism, that is, journalism that is far from large economic groups, and closer to the people.

The medium is digital native, local in nature, and covers breaking news from the city, but it does so with added value: the originality of the published content, the depth in the journalistic approaches, the social and human rights approach in the treatment of the news, the generation of its own agenda, the quality of graphic reporting and the coverage in audiovisual format of impact news for Mar del Plata.

In its first decade of history, Qué digital has garnered various recognitions and has led impact initiatives, including: two photographic exhibitions and the production of its first documentary "Discarded. Al margin de la garbage", as well as awards in national and international journalistic contests.

The medium has participated in various programs and accelerators in its first 10 years of work and, in addition, in 2024 it became the first medium in Argentina to receive international certification from the Journalism Trust Initiative promoted by the organization Reporters Without Borders for meeting the highest standards of trust, transparency, ethics and journalistic quality.
