Non-profit website developed in Queilén, a commune in the Chiloé Archipelago, in southern Chile. Founded by the Cárcamo cousins, a family born and raised in that town, its mission is to publicize their commune and inform about what is happening in the province, region and country. When the 2000s began and the Internet began to spread, not many municipalities had access to web pages, only those with greater resources. Therefore, the association of municipalities purchased all the domains of the smaller communes that had not acquired them. This purchase was made for a period of 2 years and during that period each municipality had to request the domain from the association so that it could be transferred. Some did not do so, as was the case of Queilén, with the domain "queilen.cl" being deregistered and eliminated. Thus, in 2003, this family very naively acquired the domain and since then they have wanted to contribute to the commune, being a free means of dissemination and information.
