Radio Bicicleta is an on-demand Radio that broadcasts journalistic information about Society and Culture, Environment and community stories in Podcast format. It has its physical headquarters in the City of Córdoba, Argentina. It seeks to promote the participation of women and dissidents through gender equality, since the medium is founded and composed mostly of women. The main objective is to give place and recognition to the role of women in culture and communication. The medium emerges as the main tool to achieve this objective, providing the City and Province of Córdoba with a model of cultural, communicational and gender-perspective innovation. It is a multi-platform digital native medium that, by fusing the traditional radio format with the podcast format, preserves the heritage of oral storytelling and addresses crucial themes to contribute to the creation of a multicultural identity. It delves into alternative communication approaches to the problems we face as a society and exposes various perspectives that are crossed by cultural management. The medium is novel and original in its very composition, due to how it manages, produces and disseminates its contents, it is an on-demand podcast and radio platform, it is the first and only one in the city of Córdoba. In addition to its structure, the content it disseminates is scarce in traditional media; what was considered a column or commentator on traditional radio, today called NICHO, is the backbone of Radio Bicicleta. Topics such as: cultural and creative industries, environment, sexuality, diversity, politics and gender, mental health, science, education, etc. They are central information. In the period of 4 years that the radio has been using this podcast platform format, some 150 professionals from the city have been interviewed, from various work, educational, business, artistic, and cultural areas, giving an account of the great socio-cultural flow that occurs in Córdoba. Furthermore, the content that is generated has an international perspective but with a local anchor, putting the city of Córdoba and its imprint as a starting point and with a generation of content that has a positive perspective on what is produced in the city. He was recently awarded the award and recognition for his contribution to the Creative Industries by the Municipality of Córdoba in the CIUDAD ACTIVA program. It is a Communication and Culture project, managed and supported by the Red de Gestoras Culturales Foundation.
