Since its creation in 2010, this independent journalistic venture has dedicated itself to providing training courses on the effective use of social networks and cyberactivism, and since 2022 it has expanded its spectrum and incorporated training in digital security, psycho-emotional security and personal security. It has trained almost 15,000 Infocitizens from organized civil society groups, reporters, photographers, guilds and unions, among others. To combat misinformation, it provides free and plural information, in real time, through its journalistic platform that lives on social networks and which today has more than one million 200 thousand followers. Although its nature is that of a news aggregator, it also produces its own content and carries out collaborative campaigns with other native digital media in the country. In the last two years, in alliance with the Andrés Bello Catholic University, it carried out two diploma courses: Social Networks and Cyberactivism in 2022 in Caracas; and Social Networks against Disinformation in 2023 at the UCAB headquarters in Puerto Ordaz, Bolívar state. In both diploma courses, 40 journalists were trained. ReportYa promotes Infocitizenship, understanding it as a practice developed and exercised by citizens at a time when new digital environments allow consuming and producing information autonomously and independently of traditional logic. It is a dimension of citizen power based on the ability of individuals alone or organized to impact public opinion, through online conversations, and generate mobilizations. ReporteYa's practices have been shared with regional media in Colombia, Nicaragua, Bolivia, Guatemala, Ecuador, Chile, El Salvador and Mexico.
