LITIGIO is a journalistic project committed to transparency and justice, created with the purpose of documenting and analyzing the judicial sphere of the province of Chaco from a comprehensive human rights perspective. This approach, absent in many provincial media, seeks not only to inform but also to encourage a critical and participatory citizenry that is actively involved in the debate for a new concept of Justice. In a context where unresolved social and political conflicts increasingly tend to become judicialized, the Judiciary in Argentina faces growing discredit. Characterized by its resistance to reforms and a worrying co-option by concentrated economic interests, this power of the State plays a crucial role in the freedom and property of citizens. However, its operation lacks adequate public scrutiny and, in many cases, effective mechanisms to guarantee rights and access to justice for the most vulnerable sectors. LITIGIO seeks to fill this gap by providing rigorous and documented information that sheds light on judicial dynamics, but also aspires to build a narrative that connects the community with a broader understanding of Justice. This term, written in capital letters, should not be confined to specialists or a strictly normative approach. On the contrary, Justice has a political and social dimension that reflects what is legitimate and necessary for an entire community at a given moment in its history. This project is an invitation to reflect on the role of the Judiciary in the construction of a more just and democratic society, encouraging the active participation of audiences in the critical analysis of its functioning and in the fight for Justice at the service of citizens and not of particular interests.
