Pedalea Magazine is an independent and essential media for all those who choose to continually travel by bicycle through the cities of Chile and Latin America. It was founded in May 2014 by Myriam Salazar and Victor Rojas, and to date it has worked tirelessly to make visible and promote the use of the bicycle as a sustainable and healthy means of transportation in our country.

Pedalea stands out for the variety of content it offers. Chronicles, interviews and experiences, it also has audiovisual pieces, podcasts and prints that give an account of the evolution of urban cycling in Chile, as well as highlighting and disseminating Latin American organizations, networks and initiatives related to active mobility.

A positive aspect of Pedalea is its commitment to sustainability, the environment and coexistence in cities. Pedalea encourages the use of bicycles as an alternative and more environmentally friendly means of transportation, proposing that bicycles are tools of change for the lives of people in cities.

Currently, Pedalea articulates through content a broader, diverse and participatory community of Latin American voices of people who are willing to use their own energy to transform the world.
