Revoltiao is a media and entertainment platform. Informs youth through different media: digital magazine, radio, television, online streaming, social networks and events, trying to influence and build an awareness that can promote social development. It seeks to create more critical societies. By August 2017, Forbes rated it as “30 Business Promises.” It has organized three music and gastronomy festivals (2017 and 2018), which—together—obtained an influx of more than 28,600 people. In 2020, it was a key means for the awakening of Dominicans in the face of the failed elections in February of the aforementioned year, in which it informed, mobilized and directed the actions to be carried out by the protesters. Through this website, the task was taken to call the population to take to the streets, link the protests that were replicated worldwide by Dominicans in the diaspora in more than 30 countries and three islands, schedule cacerolazos and—its members—serve as spokespersons, among other actions.
