Science Nigeria

https://sciencenigeria.com
Science Nigeria is an online media that covers scientific research, the environment, health, and tech breakthroughs, aiming to boost science literacy and inform evidence-based policy debates. Science is seen as a very complicated and elitist subject matter. Science Nigeria, therefore, seeks to correct this misconception by simplifying science through its publications to show that science is simple and affects everyday life. The media outlet seeks to build a bridge between researchers, scientists, innovators and all other arms of science, and the society. This aims to show how the work being carried out by scientists or researchers in the lab affects the life of an ordinary citizen. Since it was founded in 2021, Science Nigeria has stood true to its mission of demystifying science and making it more accessible to Nigerians through its news reports, features, Op-Ed, exclusive interviews and special reports. These reports promote innovations, research and excellence in the fields of science and technology. Our Pro-Science organisation is also committed to mentoring young journalists to pick interest in science and technology reporting through its internship programme and trainings. We aim to foster collaboration within the scientific community and inspire the next generation of scientists with a strong emphasis on encouraging young people to pick interest in science and technology.
