Sopitas.com is a site founded in 2005 by Francisco Alanís with the intention of offering an alternative and independent channel of information and entertainment to a generation that had been forgotten by traditional media.

Sopitas.com converges between music, sports, entertainment, technology, science, humanities and political and social movements with an approach and personality that has conquered a generation eager to discover new ways of consuming information.

In 2010, Sopitas was appointed by the agency EDELMAN as the most influential Spanish-speaking Twitter account and Francisco Alanís has been named among the 300 most influential Mexican leaders in 2014, 2015 and 2016.

Currently, Sopitas.com is made up of a team of young journalists passionate about taking advantage of all the tools that allow us to develop new platforms and projects in service of our audience.
