Srednja.hr (in English: High School) is a media outlet focused on education, science, and youth. Founded in 2011 by Marko Matijević, Srednja.hr publishes news about education and warnings about irregularities within the educative system. It targets students and high school students, aiming to be the voice of the youth in Croatia. Initially, the website functioned on a volunteer basis, but very soon Srednja.hr entered the world of professional journalism.

In 2017, the Croatian Journalist's Association gave Srednja.hr journalist Dora Kršul the Marija Jurić Zagorka Award for investigative journalism, and the Marija Jurić Zagorka Award for internet journalism.

Young people recognise the credibility of Srednja.hr, which has more than 500,000 users supporting it monthly. It constantly incorporates innovations and works to engage its audience. It is among the five most popular Croatian media on TikTok. The team has also launched several YouTube podcasts about issues concerning young people. The organisation established a Quizzes section, a virtual place for learning and discovering new things.

Srednja.hr started Alumni, a project mapping the best Croatian students and teachers according to the criteria of the Oscars of Knowledge. One of the tools the team designed is a "points calculator": pupils can convert their grade point average from elementary school into points for admission to high school. Also, high school graduates can convert the average of high school grades and high school graduation grades into points for admission to a higher education institution.

Recently, Srednja.hr offered its readers a digital subscription. Keeping in mind the needs of its audience, it has three subscription levels: Level A is for pupils, students, and pensioners, with a discount included; Level B is for a general audience; and Level C is for institutions and companies.

Srednja.hr operates within the media company Pametna kuća (in English: Smart House), which also publishes mirovina.hr (a website for pensioners) and baustela.hr (about construction, real estate, and reconstruction of earthquake-affected areas).
