The Union Nationale de la Presse Sportive de Ivory Coast (UNPSCI) is the professional association that brings together sports journalists and media professionals working in Ivory Coast. It serves as a national union dedicated to the interests, rights, training, and professional solidarity of journalists who cover sports across the country. Members come from various media sectors including print, radio, television, and online outlets, reflecting the diverse media landscape of Ivorian sports reporting. Mission & Role UNPSCI’s core mission is to support and strengthen sports journalism in Ivory Coast. It does this by uniting sports media professionals under a common umbrella to:Promote professionalism, ethical reporting, and solidarity among sports journalists. Facilitate training and capacity building to keep members informed about evolving media practices. Advocate for the rights and interests of its members with institutions, sports federations, and public authorities. Serve as a platform for collaboration between journalists, institutions, and stakeholders in the sports sector.
