UyCast is a network and podcast producer based in Uruguay. It was created in 2018 with the aim of generating and disseminating alternative, independent and quality content for the entire Spanish-speaking community mainly, with a key focus on storytelling.

We choose to create and communicate through podcasts due to their versatility and richness in content, for their proximity and great accessibility, and because we believe that it is an essential tool as a means of communication in itself.

That is why we offer comprehensive technical and creative production and editing services for brands that wish to expand their communication through a close medium, creative and with enormous global diffusion. We work with companies, institutions and civil society organizations. In our years we have collaborated with El País, Unicef, Ágora, CFA Society, Ceibal, Zonamérica and others.

We are organizers of Sonora, a Podcast festival, an event where outstanding productions are presented at the national level. Professionals from the media participate in each edition giving talks and workshops, and you can also enjoy some live podcasts. Sonora is part of the Ibero-American Circuit of Podcast Festivals (CIFESPOD) and presents the Sonora Aural Award, which rewards Uruguayan audio productions.
