Digital medium that belongs to the Vokaribe Community Radio Broadcasting Association, born in 1995, with a presence on FM through the station Vokaribe Radio and with a digital presence since 2010. It is a radio and digital project that promotes the local social, cultural and political processes of 70 neighborhoods in the southwest of Barranquilla (Atlántico) – a population of more than 500,000 inhabitants –, through the generation of a culture of participatory, reflective, constructive communication from the local scene, with creative and critical content inspired by the cultural richness of the Caribbean. "We sound to encourage participation, accompany the processes of representation and defense of the rights of groups of ethnic, cultural and sexual minorities. We sound because we have the right to sound. To promote dialogues in a society that has lost the good habit of listening and respect for free expression," the site points out on its website. Due to its character social, cultural and community, Vokaribe has had the support of international organizations and national entities such as Biblioteca Popular La Paz BIBLOPAZ, Deutsche Welle Akademie, Fundación Cultural Cazauroras, Fundación Intermundos, Ministry of Culture of Colombia, Internews, Centro Cultural del Banco de la República, CAPAZ, Goethe Institut, DeJusticia, FES Comunicación and the World Association for Christian Communication (WACC).
