VoltaOnline: Our Story, Our Way VoltaOnline is a trusted source of authentic news and information from the Volta Region of Ghana. From lifestyle and events to tourism, culture, and general news, the platform captures the pulse of happenings across the length and breadth of the region—and beyond. Founded as a grassroots initiative by three journalist friends—Lambert K. Atsivor, Frederick Duodu Takyi (Fred Duodu), and Kingnobert Akpablie—VoltaOnline was born out of a shared frustration: many of the stories they filed to Accra as regional correspondents were never published. Determined to give voice to their region’s narratives, they created a platform to tell Volta’s story on their own terms. Thus emerged the tagline: *“Our Story, Our Way.”* The journey began in 2014 with a humble blog, [voltaonlinegh.blogspot.com](http://voltaonlinegh.blogspot.com), and evolved into a full-fledged WordPress website in 2016: [voltaonlinegh.com](http://voltaonlinegh.com). While the founding partners have since moved on to pursue other interests, the platform continues to thrive through the contributions of volunteers and fellow media practitioners who share a passion for regional storytelling. VoltaOnline remains committed to amplifying local voices, preserving cultural heritage, and fostering informed engagement across the Volta Region.
