Women's Agenda is the premier digital news site in Australia, sharing the latest news on how women live and work and reaching around a million people each month. It is small, independent, and 100 per cent women-owned and run.
The team of journalists and editors examines politics, business, leadership, health, tech, and life from the perspective of professional women and female entrepreneurs. A neat summary of everything readers need to know is offered in an email update, sent every workday at lunchtime.
The mission is to share news that matters to women and to get more women heard on these topics.
Women's Agenda is an established media company initially launched in 2012 by Founding Editor Angela Priestley, who then co-founded the parent company, Agenda Media, with Tarla Lambert-Patel.
Agenda Media is now a growing independent media company and one of the few in Australia that is wholly owned by women. It has no outside investment and supports its work through advertising and partnerships.
Agenda Media also publishes Women's Health News, podcasts, research, and a number of custom-publishing projects with a wide range of clients.
Every year, emerging female leaders are celebrated and recognised through the national awards program, the Women's Agenda Leadership Awards, and the recently launched first annual Women's Health & Wellbeing Summit.
